10km Project 2010 vehicle testing discussion

I thought about something that might make our lives a bit easier.

We should build the payload for the Arrow10 rocket and use a smaller booster to launch it several times.  This way the payload is exactly as it will be flown in October.  Any modifications will be automatically incorporated on the final rocket.

Once done, the payload will be attached to the 10km booster and flown.

Anyone see any problem with this?

Re: 10km Project 2010 vehicle testing discussion

Hi Johann

I think thatis a n excelent idea and it would have the benefit of a already proven payload bay when it commes to october and then there won't be extra development cost for the payload bay
