Hi anyone,
I`m new. I see there is a SA team persuing the N-Prize. Who are they?...and what is the biggest problem standing in the way to success. Huh

hi Cobus,

here is my view on the N-Prize.

It is a great idea as far as promoting private development of space technology.
The way the N-Prize is presented is however a farce.
The fact that they ignore development and ground-support in the costing is ludacris.
The majority of costs is not the vechile or propellant, it is the remaining aspects.
Setting a cost limit only on the expendable part of the system is ignoring the real costs.

I may be wrong but would love to see someone prove me wrong.

As with all things, if you think it is simple or at least possible, stop talking and do it!
