"D" / "Moonburner" Grains

I am currently doing some research on these grains.I want the motor to fire with different grains creating multiple pulses.

I'll update my progress shortly!

What are the alluminium motor pressure limits?Did ASR run tests on this before?

Re: "D" / "Moonburner" Grains

This test was done on a MTS-5000 (Miershoop-Test-Stand!)  with a 28mm stainless motor.2 opposing moonburner grains with a delay in the middle. 500 Points to the one who can spot the delay burn! Wink

It sounded like a explosion!

Re: "D" / "Moonburner" Grains

I really like the miershoop test stand, nice and solid the spit of our small builders really do the trick. It seems to work much better than the turf-soil test stand that I used once. Somewhat messy, had to dig deep to get my motor back. Some china-man almost scored a motor! Maybe we can sell the idée to  the GAO-TREIN manne.Wink

Here is my test stand but it is difficult to capture the data from a camera .well at least I can see there are thrust. 12 kg max on this small motor.

Is that a sugar motor? Shocked

Re: "D" / "Moonburner" Grains

No leaks, It is a Toyota’s hydraulic clutch system in reverse
How can i get hold of a kind of Digital timer program to work with my video clip like the one on miershoop?

Re: "D" / "Moonburner" Grains

Have you got a "load sell" then or is there something els, a hydraulic unit that measure pressure electronically perhaps?

Re: "D" / "Moonburner" Grains

I did that with frame rates and video editing. I would love a high frame per second camera!!!! Cry
