What are your plans regarding ignition timing on the motors?

Re: air start cluster

I can almost assure the motors wont fire as desired. This is one of the largest problems regarding cluster motors.

How are the motors going to eject?

Re: air start cluster

now the motors is built on the main airfrrame as one unit no drop away boosters ect only built in boosters....and ive actually been experimenting with different tipes of ignition but like me and johan have seen lately black power burns to rapidly to ignite the fuel..... Grin we actualy made a mini canon hahaha......

Re: air start cluster

Hi Booster 11

Do you think it will be a problem to ignite the sustainer on a two stage rocket? Huh

Can you help me on that one!

(i think it was you who helped me with the recovery of my 38 special booster) Cheesy

Re: air start cluster

Booster,

Why a cluster? Why not one single large motor with a sustainer?

If you need the quick boost of 7 motors why not go big with sugar?
